Amy Nicole's Fullmoon Party

My dear friend, have just given birth to her 2nd baby. We are invited to Amy's fullmoon party at Westin Hotel. Well, actually this is my 1st time attending fullmoon party in a 5 star hotel.

All tables are decorated with a Barbie dolls. So beautiful :)

And the whole room is decorated with sweet pink and white balloons.

And each of us are given a door gift. It's a teddy with sweets and gums. Also a thank you card with baby's pic :)

The cake is so beautiful. When we leave, the cake is still no cut. Well, i guess it is just too beautiful to be eaten.

They hired a man to make balloons for the kids. He is very creative, coming out with all different design. He can make tweety bird, pink panter, bugs bunny, helicopter, bears and flowers. And the easy ones, machine guns and swords.

This is flower basket for the fullmoon baby. But even before he can present it to the baby, it's all gone...taken away by the kids (and their mummies)

And, me this big buffalo took this bear bear home :P

I know, no baby photo also. She is sleeping throughout the party, and she look so small and fragile. Just dun want to snap her photo and wake her up from her beauty sleep.

Oh, and guess what. You can take the Barbie dolls home as souvinier. I see many ppl taking it home, of course, with the permission of the host :)

I finally joined Fitness 1st

I have been thinking of joining a fitness club for so so so long, but never have the commitment to do so. I finally made myself to drive to IOI mall and signed up as member. Actually I wanted to go there just to see see, as I was thinking of joining Perfect Yoga at Puchong.

Maybe the mistake I made was not making a visit to Perfect Yoga. Well, I will never know if I will sign uo for Perfect Yoga if I give them a visit.

So after signing up I am so fired up and wanted to visit the gym everyday. Went there for the 1st time on Saturday and attended Yoga and BodyJam. Liked it. Prefer Yoga though.

Then came sunday and I was too tied up with shopping at IKEA. Then on Monday I went there at 9.30 am to join BodyCombat. The moves reminds me of the days when I was in school, doing Taekwondo. Yes, I am Taekwondo black belt holder (that was more than 10 years ago. After BodyCombat, I joined the Yoga class. Then after that i use 2 of their machines (dunno their name la)

Today, my whole body was aching. All muscles, no miss. So decided to rest for today. But I guess when u start exercising, ur body gets a lift and is full of energy. I cannot sit still like i used to. And I was so lazy to climb the stairs. Despite my aching muscles, I did housechores. Washed toilets, wipe cupboards and pulling grass at the back yard.

i really like the feeling dun feel so fatigue. I am now so refreshed. Can't wait for tomorrow and I shall go for another Yoga class :)

Weighed myself today and I have lost 1kg. So happy. But my weight easily fluctuate by 1-2 kgs due to water retention. Hopefully I can lose 8kg. Keeping my fingers crossed

Ridiculous Credit Card Finance Charge!!!

Received my credit card statement today and was shocked to see Finance Charge amounting to RM19.25. I remember paying the full amount before the payment due date. So just to confirmed me right, I dug out last months statement. The due date was 27 Feb and I made the payment on 12 Feb.

Furious, I called the customer service. Well, let me explain that I am the Sup-card holder. So the teller told me that the finance charge is not for me, but for the primary card holder. Duh! OK! But what is the charge for? Is it late payment? Or what finance charge?

She told me that we did not pay the previous amount in full. Ok, I know I paid 12cents short. So the bank is charging me RM19.25 for not paying 12cents!!??

RM19.25/12cents is 160042%. So effectively they are charging us 192500%per annum. Ah Long also dun charge so much.

So she explained that based on Bank Negara blah blah blah, even if we pay 1 cents short, they will calculate the interest based on the whole previous month's transaction. I was like WHAT THE???

This is really RIDICULOUS. Banks are blood sucking. Why Bank Negara come out with such regulation? The bank is already earning so much and u come out with such regulation so that they can earn more???

She further explained that this regulation is announced. I asked if it is written behind the statement (you know the whole page of small prints behind the statement). She said no, but they have sent out memos to all card holders. Somewhere July last year. Ok, our bad for not reading the memo carefully (dun remember receiving it though).

Asked to waive it...but since I am not the primary card holder they can't do it. Only when the primary cardholder calls then they will waive it. DUH!!! As if the primary card holder will disagree with me and prefer paying the RM19.25 finance charge as a penalty of not paying 12 cents.

So next time, please becareful when making payment. Dun pay them even 1 cent short.

Saw Siti Nurhaliza while shopping today

I was shopping for bedsheets at Metrojaya, Midvalley when a sales girl ran to the sales girl servicing me and say Siti, Siti Nurhaliza.

I turn my head and yes, I saw her with her hubby and another guy (maybe the body guard, but he look a bit old and unfit for that though).

Have a close look at her, to confirm if she really looked pretty. U know, most rich and famous ppl only look good on tv and ag rite..

Yes, she is indeed beutiful. Nice skin and barbie doll-liked face.

I wamted to take a photo with her, but then on 2nd thought, better not. What if I look prettier than her? Not good la like that *chuckle*

Finally chopped my hair

I was thinking of cutting my hair short for a very very long time, due the hot hot weather. But each time, the hair-dressers will advised me otherwise. They will instead advise me to curl my hair. Finally today's visit to this new hair dresser introduced by dear Kai Ming suggested that i cut my hair short. Instantly I told him to just cut it! Ah...finally. My head felt so light. And he cut it real short that i can't tie up my hair...
