Peacock Cross-stitch (The Finale)

Finally.....completed my Peacock x-stitch project. The next step is to wash it and get it framed. And to scratch my head to think where should I hang it....that's why never think before buying...

So even before I start on my Kuan Yin project (which I bought in December), I went to Monalisa and buy few more :P 2 of it is clock. I am now working on the 2 clocks, I guess I can complete them in pretty short time. The deity project is quite huge. I am thinking of buying more to keep for future. Maybe will go Angelstitch. Since I cannot get nice ones in Malaysia, and the price will definately cost a bomb in Msia...

Hong Kong

I have just visited Hong Kong yet again. This is my 2nd trip this year. Why I travel to Hong Kong so often? Well, I am so loaded that I travel to Hong Kong just to buy designer clothings and bags - Gucci. Fendi, Armani, Rolex and what not.

Helloo? hello? wake up. u were dreaming.

Hubby and me travel to HK via Shenzhen, as hubby is working in Shenzhen. We travel there just for visit, not for shopping :( We travel by train, as we think it is very convinient. Just go to Luohu train station in Shenzhen. Train tic from Shenzhen to say..Mongkok is HKD30+. We bought the tourist day pass which cost HKD55. but this pass can only be used in HK train/LRT stations. (the pass comes with the LRT map, hubby threw it away before I can take a pic of it)So we need to buy ticket from Shenzhen station to the 1st HK station which is Sheung Shui, which cost HKD20. Get down and go in again using the day pass. Unless u wanna make a trip to Hong Kong Island, the day pass is not worth it. One way trip to say...Causewaybay from Mongkok will cost HKD10.50

Photos below are combination of 1st visit with 2nd visit.

Soya bean pudding with fruits

can't remember what this noodle called. dun look as yummy as the photo on the menu. but taste yummy though

Soya bean pudding with ginger juice. it is not sweet so have to add sugar. they have this ginger sugar on the table for u to add to taste.

We visited the Lantau Island on 2 January. Need to take the train to Tung Chung station, then take a cable car up. The ticket for 2 way cable car plus admission fees and also for 2 'cartoon movie' is around HKD180 (can't remember exactly).

Since it is public holiday in China (1-3 Jan), there is thousands of visitors from mainland China. Th queue is so so long. We have to queue about 300m, then take an escator up, and the queue zig-zaged for about 900m. i think it took us more than an hour to queue.

The cartoon movie that I mentioned is optional. u can choose to not purchase for the movie. One of it is introduction on who is Sidharta Gautama and how the become Buddha. The other is monkey cartoon which teaches us not to be greedy (for kids ok la). Sorry photos not allowed in the theather.
